And afterwards
Those that belong to him."
Firstfruits and harvest,
But harvest of what?
Harvest of what was a seed -
A dull,
Small,
Wrinkled,
Insignificant
Seed.
A seed that was me -
Planted to die,
Planted to change,
Planted to arise -
Metamorphosis -
As tadpole to frog,
As caterpillar to butterfly,
As larva to adult.
Same genes -
But new being.
Such is resurrection -
Transformation,
Old life to new,
Dynamic,
Substantial,
Not floating on clouds,
But walking on New Earth,
Where God's will
Shall be done
As it is in heaven. |
