Hints on what we can pray for

This poem was written for the book:
Still Digging: Scratching the surface and plumbing the depths of prayer

Who do I really care for?
What fills up most of my time?
What have I shed a tear for?
What things weigh most on my mind?
What do my duties require?
Who is relying on me?
What do I deeply desire?
Where do I most like to be?
What is my church's mission?
Who is my worst enemy?
What is my driving vision?
Who do I want to set free?
What have I heard on the news?
What am I doing today?
What do I want to improve?
Has someone asked me to pray?

The answers to these questions
Direct my supplications.
